The guideVue app presents ‘how-to’ procedure instructions, knowledge, and learning of all kinds, from Art to Zoology, on your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad.
In guideVue, information is presented interactively, step-by-step, accompanied by rich media (audio, voice, image, video and text), from special documents called ‘guidevues’. These can be downloaded through the app or through iTunes. Once downloaded, you do not need any connectivity to play the guidevues on your device.
guideVue is also communications-enabled and location-aware. For example, the cell phone version can call, send an SMS or email based on contact information provided in the guidevues.
guidevues are created using a point-and-click interface, without any programming or coding, using Windows software called the guideVue Author. Voice, text, images, video/animation can be integrated into the guidevue simply by dragging and dropping.
